Holiday Shopping Tips
I enjoy the crisp winter weather, holiday lights, beautifully decorated trees, family gatherings, and all the joyful sounds of the season. Soon it will be Thanksgiving, followed by Christmas, and then the grand finale; New Years Eve. Have you started your Christmas shopping and New Year’s resolution lists? If you said no then I’m right there with you.
The one thing I will do differently this year is shop online for the majority of my gifts. There are those in my family who prefer gift cards which, I purchase locally. All other gift selections will be done from the comfort of home thanks to our resourceful internet. Nearly all brand name and discount stores have a website with sales specials you won’t find when shopping locally.
Most online retailers offer gift wrapping, a gift card with your message, and shipping to the intended recipient. Some may require a small fee for these services but many offer “free shipping” and that alone saves money. I have listed several interesting gift ideas that I found during my internet search for gifts and savings. Enjoy looking through my selections and hopefully, it gives you some ideas for your own list.
Big Crumbs is one of my favorite internet shopping spots. It’s free to join and they have partnered with many of the big name department stores to provide a true shopping convenience.
